Natasha's Approach to Therapy

Natasha's greatest pleasure as a therapist is supporting people to reconnect with their sense of purpose, joy, and satisfaction, and she holds firm in her belief that everyone has capacity for healing and growth. Her guiding values are authenticity, curiosity, and connection, and she strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel welcome and accepted, positioning people as the experts in their own lives. She brings an integrative approach that balances exploring past experiences with developing skills and hope for the future, drawing on evidence-based approaches rooted in Emotionally Focused, Cognitive-Behavioral, Person-Centered, and IFS-informed frameworks. She is also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy for the treatment of trauma.

Natasha's Specialties

Natasha is a Registered Social Worker with a graduate degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and over 15 years of experience in the human services field. She works with individuals and couples in areas of anxiety, depression, stress management, anger management, relationship challenges, trauma and abuse recovery, grief and loss, addictions, self-discovery, and personal development.

A Note From Natasha

I care about creating therapy that feels real. I want clients to feel they can bring the polished parts, the messy parts, and the uncertain parts of themselves into the room.

Common Questions

You do not need to be in crisis. Many people come in feeling stuck or sensing something is off, even when life looks fine from the outside. Curiosity is enough to start.
Mostly a conversation. A chance to share what brought you in, what you are hoping for, and what kind of support would feel most helpful. No pressure to have it figured out before you arrive.
Both offer the same quality of care. Virtual therapy can be easier for flexibility, while in-person therapy may feel better if you prefer being in the room together.
It depends on what you are working through. Some people benefit from a few focused sessions. Others prefer longer-term support. There is no fixed timeline. It is shaped around your goals.
Completely normal. A free consultation is available if you'd like to ask a few questions first, but it is optional. You are also welcome to take more time before booking an appointment.
Select insurance plans may be accepted. Ask at booking to confirm whether your plan is covered for therapy appointments.
