Sasheline's Approach to Therapy

Sasheline believes that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and change. One of the most meaningful parts of her professional journey has been witnessing people recognize their internal resilience and shift how they relate to themselves and others. She brings a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy, supporting clients in exploring the experiences and stories that have shaped them, deepening self-understanding, and reconnecting with the values that guide meaningful change. Drawing from a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective and integrating EMDR, ACT, and Narrative Therapy, Sasheline helps clients move toward a life that feels more authentic, connected, and fulfilling.

Sasheline's Specialties

Sasheline works with adults across the lifespan and families navigating trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, medical diagnoses, and complex family circumstances. Her professional experience spans both healthcare and public-sector settings, providing her with a broad understanding of the complex systems that shape people's lives and wellbeing.

Common Questions

You do not need to be in crisis. Many people come in feeling stuck or sensing something is off, even when life looks fine from the outside. Curiosity is enough to start.
Mostly a conversation. A chance to share what brought you in, what you are hoping for, and what kind of support would feel most helpful. No pressure to have it figured out before you arrive.
Both offer the same quality of care. Virtual therapy can be easier for flexibility, while in-person therapy may feel better if you prefer being in the room together.
It depends on what you are working through. Some people benefit from a few focused sessions. Others prefer longer-term support. There is no fixed timeline. It is shaped around your goals.
Completely normal. A free consultation is available if you'd like to ask a few questions first, but it is optional. You are also welcome to take more time before booking an appointment.
Select insurance plans may be accepted. Ask at booking to confirm whether your plan is covered for therapy appointments.
